About
I am a Research Fellow in Health Text Analytics and Data Science in the Department of Biostatistics & Health Informatics (BHI) at King’s College London. I earned my PhD from the University of Southampton and The Alan Turing Institute, which included a research exchange at the University of Western Australia. I also hold an MSc in Software Engineering from South China University of Technology (SCUT), where I participated in an exchange program at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
I also serve as an Advisor to the Meta Global Safety Policies (Eating Disorder and Body Image Advisory Group), am a Member of the King’s Institute for Artificial Intelligence (AI), hold an Honorary position at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, and co-chair the NLP Interest Group at BHI.
Feel free to reach out via email if you're interested in collaboration or PhD opportunities.
Research
Driven by a passion for transforming healthcare through technology, my research leverages advanced computational approaches to address real-world health challenges, with a particular focus on complex mental health conditions. At the intersection of AI, health data science, computational social science, and clinical informatics, I develop innovative approaches—including natural language processing, multimodal learning, and network modeling—to integrate and analyze diverse data sources such as clinical records and social media. My work uncovers meaningful patterns in human behavior and health trajectories, generating actionable insights for population health and informing the development of clinical decision support systems. My research interests include:
- Natural Language Processing
- Health Data Science
- Multimodal Learning
- Knowledge Graphs and Reasoning
- Causal Inference in Health Research
- Clinical Decision Support Systems
